Hello! I saw on your list for what you want to watch next. One of them was "Sonny boy" that anime was so interesting, i love theorizing, and thinking about what will happen next in animes, and think about the meanings of things. This anime was so perfect for that. I had so much fun theorizing, and trying to piece things together. Would love to read your thoughts on it after you watch it smile Take care.

I saw Twin peaks in your TV section and I think that gave me the final push to go and watch it! I've never seen it before, but I want to.

how did stumble upon my site?: just looking at neocities browse page

Hi Des, I loooove your site. Makes me feel nostalgic as I used to code like this in my teenage years until I graduated from college and posted everything about my life. Already in my 30s now, so I'm happy to encounter sites like this still actively run by othersblush Now I want to have my own again! Hopefully the next time I write here, I'll have my own corner in the web and experiment with things just like I did before. Have a great dayrose

i love your site! it feels so personal and each page is a labour of love. i'm a frontend dev but feel like i don't get the chance to express myself through work, and don't have so much time outside of it to create. seeing your site really inspires me and makes me want to make my own so badly. thanks for the inspiration <3

In love seeing sites that are colourful with pixels that remind me of when I was browsing the web as a teen in the 2000s. I love that this site style is still alive! smile

how did stumble upon my site?: on neocities i think!

your website is so pretty! also if you can share, how did yiu make the clickable calender on your journal page, its so cool and i would love to make something like that! its so nice to see cool websites, and yours is probably in my top 5!

Replied on: July 1, 2025 at 10:24:23 PM

thank you! you can make the clickable calendar in multiple ways but i just use iframes for it. you see, the calendar itself is an iframe (https://doqmeat.com/journal/2025/calendar.html) and in that page, the links are all being targeted to another iframe in https://doqmeat.com/journal named "log". that's why you can click on a day in the calendar and the journal log of that day will pop up in the same page.
