Hi there, I just want to say your blog post about your abuela "aba" really touched me. It reminded me of my own abuela, except I called her "ala" for the same reason as you. I had a hard time saying abuela in spanish growing up and funny enough, i DID call mi abuelo ABU lmao! my kids now call my dad ABU. As soon as I read that on your blog then saw the pic of the german shepherd, I noticed the floor...I my first thought "this girl is in PR..." I'm Puerto Rican too!!!!! WEEEPAAA! LOL. But all them damn floors look the same with the colored fleck (or whatever you call it) strewn everywhere...all the same. Even the carports floor the same lmao jaja. Anyways, I just thought it was super neat that we are both from la isla and that what we called our abuelos was nearly identical. Just wanted to say hi, and show some love your way. I hope you have a great week!
